Built from abs+, and quality thick brass metal pins, this little tool allows you to use Makita battery on a Hitachi Tool.

Why doing this? The initial idea is to let Makita users take advantage of the Hitachi brushless nailer, which is probably the best cordless nailer on the market. And unfortunately the other Hitachi tools are just not as good, or simply we don't want to completely switch to Hitachi platform. And now we have being using this little gadge for almost a year, we can't say how we loved it, it just become part of our daily work. It still stays strong, except a bit dirty.

All you need to do is:

1 Do use it as much as you want, don't baby it. It's transparent to the tool/battery so or the original low voltage/temperature mechanism still work as is and it won't damage the battery/tool in any sense.

2 Do not use it to charge as charging is a more complicated process and this adaptor won't be able to mimic this process.
